These terms govern use of Lumen Academy. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

Who provides Lumen Academy

Lumen Academy is operated by [YOUR FULL LEGAL NAME], an Australian sole trader (ABN [YOUR ABN]). “Lumen Academy” is the name of the app and service. Questions about these terms can be sent to lumenacademyofficial@gmail.com.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires parental, guardian or school consent, you may use Lumen Academy only after that consent is obtained. Provide accurate account information, protect your credentials and notify lumenacademyofficial@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account except where law provides otherwise.

Permitted use

Lumen Academy grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for lawful study and productivity purposes. You may not:

• harass users, impersonate others, publish unlawful content or misuse Academy and Ally features;
• access another account or data without permission;
• cheat, automate, exploit or manipulate timers, XP, coins, quests, leaderboards, rewards or shared Academy results;
• interfere with service operation, security or rate limits, introduce malicious code, or probe for vulnerabilities without written permission;
• copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer or commercially exploit the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Your names and social content

You retain rights in names, mottos and other content you submit. You grant Lumen Academy a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. You confirm you have the rights to submit it. Lumen Academy may filter, reject or remove public text and may limit social access when reasonably necessary for safety, law or these terms. Social profiles include report and block controls. Academy owners may remove or ban members. Reports may be reviewed for moderation purposes, and knowingly false or abusive reporting is prohibited.

Virtual items and progression

XP, coins, ranks, rewards, boosts, characters, pets and similar items are limited service features. They have no cash value, are not property, cannot be transferred outside supported features and may be balanced or corrected to address errors, abuse or service changes. Legitimately earned progress will be preserved where reasonably practicable.

Purchases and subscriptions

If paid Lumen Pass products are offered, the price, billing period, renewal, cancellation, refund and entitlement information displayed before purchase applies together with the relevant app store terms. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through the store account settings before the renewal date. Where supported, Restore Purchases can be used to recover eligible entitlements. Deleting a Lumen Academy account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. Store rules and applicable consumer law apply where they provide rights that cannot be excluded by these terms.

Focus features and penalties

Strict Mode and cancellation coin deductions are optional game mechanics, not financial penalties. Timer, away detection and Focus Score results can be affected by browser, operating-system, power-management and connectivity limits. Review important study records and do not rely on Lumen Academy for safety-critical timing.

Third-party services

The service relies on providers such as Google Firebase, Apple and Google authentication services and may link to third-party app stores or websites. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. Lumen Academy is not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by law.

Availability, changes and termination

Features may be added, changed, suspended or discontinued. Reasonable notice will be given for material changes where practicable or legally required. Access may be limited or terminated for serious or repeated violations, abuse, security risk, legal requirement or discontinuation. Academy owners may remove or ban members from an Academy. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. Provisions that logically survive termination remain effective.

Intellectual property

Lumen Academy, its software, artwork, characters, branding and service content are owned by the operator or the relevant licensors and protected by applicable law. No rights are granted except the limited use right stated above.

Disclaimers and liability

Lumen Academy is a study-support and entertainment product. It does not guarantee academic outcomes and is not educational, medical or wellbeing advice. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Disputes and governing rules

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the laws of [YOUR STATE OR TERRITORY], subject to mandatory consumer rights and any right you have to bring a claim in another jurisdiction. Please contact lumenacademyofficial@gmail.com first so concerns can be considered informally.

Changes, contact and deletion

Updated terms will show a new effective date; material changes may also be announced in the app. Questions should be sent to lumenacademyofficial@gmail.com. Account deletion is available in Settings and through the account deletion page.
